Board Member Trainees will be trained regarding the requirements for members of our Board of Directors. Each month, they will attend mock board meetings and serve on committees which provide support to our official Board of Directors. Duties include but are not limited to: attending meetings, doing presentations, conducting fundraising campaigns, collecting donations, marketing programs, recruiting staff members, occasionally assisting the Board with administrative duties, and all other duties as assigned. A few Trainees will be selected to serve on next year's official Board of Directors.
Trainees must be available at least 40 hours per year. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to gain career experience or experienced professionals who want to make a major contribution to this region.
Please note: Board Member Trainees do not receive financial compensation. Also, nearly all meetings and interviews will be conducted online until further notice due to COVID-19.

We are interviewing for the position of Board Member-At-Large. This position allows you to become familiar with all aspects of Board membership! Previous experience on a Board of Directors is a plus but not required. We' re willing to train the right person.
